National Nurses Meet - Happening Now !!
Dear Friends in Christ,
Wish you all a very happy International Nurses Day.
This is a small update regarding the National Nurses Meet happening at B'lore.
Initially this program was supposed to happen at Christ School ground.
But due to the heavy rains, we were not able to conduct the program there.
Finally, by the grace of God, the Christ College principal has allowed us to use
the A/C auditorium, that we used for our National Conference. We got the
confirmation about the auditorium last night 9pm. They also provided us
with place for accommodation, food preparation etc. Now the entire program
is happening at Christ College campus.
We started the program this morning at 8:30am with music. As of
now, around 1000 participants have arrived. Participants are still coming in &
registrations are in progress. We are still expecting around 1500 participants.
The official inauguration of the program was done by His Grace Ignatious Pinto,
Former Archbishop of B'lore at 10.15 am. After that we had a welcome skit &
keynote address followed by the Holy Mass by His Grace Ignatius Pinto.
There were some confusions because of the last minute change of venue,
but with the grace of God, now everything is settled.
I request all of you to pray for this program, especially for all the participants,
resources, all the arrangements to be done in proper way without any confusion
and all the volunteers & leaders those who will be working behind this program
during these days. Also once again I request all the JYs at B'lore to be there at
Christ College & help our brothers & sisters,in all the ways possible.
